This level 3 award in Activity First Aid is aimed at those over 16 who are looking to undertake the responsibilities associated with being a nominated first aider (e.g. at a sports club). The course can also be undertaken by candidates between 14 & 16 years old, but they shouldn't be relied upon by employers to be a sole, nominated first aider.
Following successful completion of the course and assessments, the learner will receive the following Ofqual regulated course certificate which is valid for 3 years:
In addition to this, the successful learner will also be able to receive the following Ofqual regulated course certificate, should they or their employer require them*;
The course syllabus includes:
Certificate: Valid for 3 years. A4 sized paper certificate & credit card sized plastic certificates are issued.
Course duration: 12 guided learning hours with a further 2 hours self study.
Test: Practical assessments throughout the course & multiple choice test at the end.
Geographical coverage: This qualification is available to candidates across the UK. The Qualification can be delivered in other countries; however, candidates should be aware that the protocols meet current UK guidelines.
Venue: We run this course at our training room in Knutsford, Cheshire and at our woodland venues in Goostrey, Cheshire & Stroud, Gloucestershire. Private bookings at your venue are also available.
